Adventure Illustrated was the precursor to what would become Cyclone Comics. It was designed as a limited print run, promotional comic. The print run was destroyed by storm damage, with only a handful of issues remaining.

Cyclone was the follow-up, published at magazine size. It was decided to move forward with a regular series and a new number one at the standard US comic size. (See Cyclone! Australia)
